The house in the story is based on my friend Tori's house in Kinsale, Ireland, which is obviously not actually haunted, and the sound of people upstairs moving wardrobes around when you are downstairs there and alone is probably just something that old houses do when they think they are unobserved. This quote is about my friend Tori’s house in Kinsale, Ireland. She lives there with her husband and two kids. It is a beautiful house on a beautiful beach. However, there are some things that happen at night that she does not understand.

Sometimes, the doors of the cupboards open themselves without anyone being near them. There are also times when Tori leaves the house to go down to the beach, and when she gets back, the family room is filled with furniture that has been moved around. When she goes upstairs to check on it, she can hear people walking around upstairs moving things around.

Tori is sure that it is just something that happens in old houses, but she has never experienced it before, so she doesn’t think that it means anything.
